So as everyone knows last week I was really frustrated after my constructing class and I have spent the week trying to make a whole new project.  I have a new idea and my professor likes the idea.  The idea involves a stuffed bear I have and he is on a golf course trying to qualify for the BGA.  Some of the images are really funny and make the viewer look closer at the bear and see what he is doing.  The images will be transferred onto wood using wintergreen and wow that stuff can set you free.  It also stinks up the house and no amount of candles and open doors can help to air out the house.

Also with my photography I really need to get out in shoot more.  I have a tendency to sit down and waste time on my computer.  I know I shouldn’t but I do.  I enjoy photography and doing art but after work and school I’m just so not in the mood to do any thing.  I also know when I start doing art work I feel God working through me and I need more of that in my life.  So to my readers I ask you to pray for me to get the motivation to photograph and do art so I can bring to life what God has done in me into my artwork.

Today I also read a blogpost from a dear friend of mine Jon Hamp and it was a talk about the follow up from his surgery on his knee and it really helped me today and I will pass on the link.

Thanks everyone and God Bless

So as I said last week I have not posted any thing for a while and well my art work as of late has not been up to my standards for showing.  I will post it when it is up to my level.  So what’s new with me lots.

1.  My creative level is starting to go back up because of the two classes I’m taking in school.

This last week we had a critique in my constructing the digital image course and it went well and learned a lot from it.  I did something during the critique that I usually don’t do, I asked the class to rip my art to pieces by telling me all that is bad and needs to be improved in the piece because I’m trying to become the best artist I can and right now its the only way I feel fit.  It worked I learned a lot and looking forward to putting the improvements into my next work for the class.

2.  Kids Jam is the best thing that has ever happened to me

I know I said a little last week about vbs but that is just the tip of every thing of kids jam.  The group of people I work with is just amazing.  I just wish I had these people to work with every day of the week for a job.  It’s also amazing how these lessons are tailored for kids but I end up learning along with the kids.  Also two of the people in there are people I would have never considered friends in my life but they are some of the closet friends I have and to you two thanks for being part of my life and if you read this you know who you are.

3.  Friends

This last year and a half I have met some great people and formed friendships with a lot of great memories.  Merge has been a great place to meet people and its been a great life changer.   For people who don’t know Merge is the college service at Flatirons Community Church.

I have a lot more to say but thats for another blog.  I’m going to leave you with this

“Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the orphan. Fight for the rights of widows.”  Isaiah 1:17
